Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU) was established as Meerut University in 1965. It was given its current name to honour the memory of India's former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh. This public state university has a world-class 222-acre campus in Meerut. It houses 8 faculties to provide high-quality education in various areas of study.
