Rizvi Education Society was established in the year 1982. The society runs two colleges namely Senior College and Junior College. The former college is affiliated to the University of Mumbai, offering courses - B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.M.M., and many more. Whereas, the Junior College, recognized by the Education Department, Govt. of Maharashtra and H.S.C. Board, holds classes of F.Y.J.C and S.Y.J.C along with vocational courses in Electronics, Computer Science and IT. The society has been accredited ‘B’ grade by NAAC.

Rizvi College offers the PhD course under 4 specializations namely Chemistry, Zoology, Commerce, and Botany which will be taught as per University of Mumbai rules and regulations.

Candidates who have a Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree from a relevant field of study are eligible to apply for the PhD. Selection of eligible candidates will be based on entrance test conducted by the Mumbai University followed by personal interview.
