Sydney Institute of Business and Technology Programs
- SIBT provides a number of foundation courses and undergraduate diplomas.
- Foundation programs are of two types- standard and extended. The duration of the standard program is 8 months while that of the extended program is 12 months.
- While completing the Foundation Program, students are made familiar with study units and practice skills required for academic success in the SIBT Diploma Program, which is equivalent to one year of University studies.

Pre-requisites
- Students are required to produce the higher secondary certificate (year 11) with an average of 60% or above in 4 subjects for the foundation program and an average of 55% or above for the diploma programs.
- An IELTS score of 5.0 is required for the standard foundation course and a score of 5.5 for the extended foundation course.
- The English requirement for the diploma courses is an IELTS score of 6.0. An equivalent score of TOEFL is also accepted.
How, When and Where to Apply
- Applications are invited thrice in a year for the sessions commencing in February, June and October every year.
- Students can either apply online by filling out the application for available at the official website or alternatively they can fill the printed application form and email it to admissions@sibt.nsw.edu.au along with the supporting documents.
- International students also have the choice of applying through an authorized representative of the institute based at their home country.

What after you get admission?
Upon receiving the offer letter, it is necessary for the students to pay the fees and charges due as indicated in the Letter of Offer. This will include partial course fees, plus the Overseas Student Health Cover charge if you're an international student. Once the fee is paid, the place of the student at SIBT is secured.

Western International merit scholarship
- It is an academic merit scholarship with a value up to 5000 AUD.

Working while studying
Student visa already includes permission for work in Australia. Students will be able to work for a maximum of 20 hours per week during semesters. However the income earned from part time work is not sufficient to cover the studying and living expenses in Australia.
