The institute is a prime member of AAFT Group of Institutions which was instituted in 1993 at the prominent location of Film City, Noida as the education and training arm of Marwah Studios. The university is fully recognized by UGC, MHRD, Govt. of India, ICMEI (International Chamber of Media & Entertainment Industry), and Govt. of Chhatisgarh.
