Annamalai University is one of Asia's largest public residential universities located in Annamalai Nagar, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu, India. It was founded in 1929 and spread across 1,500 acres of land. AU consists of 10 faculties, 49 departments, and provides undergraduate, postgraduate courses, diplomas, and research programs. Diploma and Certificate Courses

Annamalai University Selection Procedure
- For all the undergraduate courses and diploma programs, the selection procedure is done on a merit basis - marks obtained in intermediate(10+2) except B.Pharm and B.Tech. Admission to B.Tech and B.Pharm is done on entrance based followed by an interview
- PG Selections vary courses to course –
- MA, M.Sc., and M.Com admissions are done on a merit basis - marks obtained in graduation.
- Selection procedure of M.P.Ed is based on a physical fitness test followed by a personal interview
- M.Ed selection is based on a merit basis followed by an interview
- Admission to MBA, M.Tech, M.Pharm, and MCA programs is done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying degree merit, entrance exam and personal interview.
- The selection procedure of M.Phil/ Ph.D. aspirants is done on the basis of the Written Test conducted by the university followed by a Personal Interview. NET/ GATE qualifiers can exempt a Ph.D. entrance test.
