Affiliated with the University Grants Commission, Apex University is a privately-funded institution of higher education and research in Jaipur. It was established by Sanjay Shiksha Samiti in 2018 under Act No. 27 of Rajasthan State Legislature. The technical programmes being offered by the university are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

AU is a multi-disciplinary institution that extends career-oriented programmes at all levels such as undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma and doctorate in diverse streams. It offers programmes in humanities, commerce, allied sciences, engineering, law, planning, architecture, veterinary sciences, management, journalism and media studies, physical education, nursing and health sciences, food technology and catering, naturopathy and yoga, fashion design and paramedical sciences.

Apex University Admission Process

The university awards admission based on merit, but it also conducts an entrance test for those who do not have any merit score. Those candidates who are willing to be considered for admission at AU must register first by filling an online application form available on the university website. The registered candidates are then called for the Apex Common Entrance Test (ACET), which is followed by a personal interview. Those applying through non-exam way also need to appear for the interview.

The applicants of BTech and BPharm must have passed 12th with a minimum aggregate of 45% in the compulsory subjects for each stream. Recipients with 50% and above marks in their qualifying examination can apply for BA-LLB, BPT, BSc and MSc in Agriculture.

GATE-qualified candidates or those who have secured at least 55% marks in BTech, BE or any other equivalent qualification are eligible for MTech programmes. MPharm applicants require at least 55% aggregate in BPharm to be eligible for applying for admission. For diploma courses in medicine, veterinary sciences, nursing and paramedical sciences, the applicants should have passed 12th class with at least 45% marks.

Apex University Scholarship Opportunities

AU offers a range of scholarships to its meritorious, skilled and financially weak students under the categories mentioned below:

• It grants Merit-based Scholarships (TFWS) to 1st-year BTech students with a minimum aggregate of 70% in the qualifying exam or Apex Common Entrance Test (ACET).

For the students of other programmes like BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, BCA, MBA, MCA and diploma courses, the university awards merit-based scholarships at the time of admission. Candidates who have 85.1 and more marks in their qualifying exam are granted a 20% fee waiver while students who secured 75-80% aggregate are eligible for 10% waiver on tuition fees.
