Avantika University was established in 2016. It is located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Avantika University is India’s first design University. It was established under MAEER’s MIT Group of Institutions. Avantika University has been recognized by UGC and approved by AICTE. It is a private University. • B. Arch (Bachelor of Architecture) It is a five-year course.
  Eligibility- The candidate should have qualified 12th standard from a State board. The candidate should also have a valid score in NATA/JEE. The test will be followed by a personal interview.
• B.Des (Bachelor of Design) It is a four-year course with the following specializations-   Industrial Design, Digital Experience Design, Communication Design, and Fashion Design.
  Eligibility- The candidate should have qualified 12th standard from a State board. The candidate should have a valid score in MIT Pune Design Aptitude Test (DAT). The test will be followed by a studio test on campus.
• B.Tech (Bachelor of Technology) This is a four-year course in Computer Science and Engineering.
  Eligibility- The candidate should have qualified 12th standard from a State board in the Science stream. The candidate is also required to have a valid score in DAT/JEE or any state level examination. The test will be followed by a personal interview.
• B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) It is a three-year course.
  Eligibility- The candidate should have passed 12th standard from a state board with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. The candidate is required to pass the Avantika Scholastic Test (Online) and upload a Self-recorded Video (2mins).

M.Des (Master of Design) It is a two-year course with the following specializations-Industrial Design, Digital Experience Design, Communication Design, and Fashion Design.
Eligibility- The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University. The candidate should have a valid score in MIT Pune Design Aptitude Test (DAT). The test will be followed by a studio test on campus.

Avantika University, Ujjain Admission 2020: Courses, Scholarship, Application process

Avantika University is a private, cross-disciplinary university based in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India which was established in 2016. At the UG and PG level, Avantika University offers courses such as B.Tech, B.Des, and M.Des respectively.

• Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of rank secured in the Avantika Scholastic Test (AST) conducted by the university.
• Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, English, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with minimum 50% are eligible for admission in B.Tech program.
• For B.Tech, the decision of selection will be done on the basis of Statement of Purpose (SOP), Video and AST along with 10th, 10+2 and JEE Main/state entrance exam.
• For B.Des, the candidate must pass 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks for admission.

Avantika University B.Tech Admission 2020

At the UG level, the university offers full-time Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) program of four-year time duration.

Candidates must hold a 10+2 level degree with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from any of the State Boards/ CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam with Physics, English, and Mathematics, to apply for B.Tech program. Also, 50% marks aggregate in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Vocational Subjects is required.

Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of rank secured in the Avantika Scholastic Test (AST) conducted by the university. Final selection is done on the basis of Statement of Purpose (SOP), Video and AST along with 10th, 10+2 and JEE Main/State entrance exam. Upon acceptance of form, the candidate needs to send a self-recorded video of the maximum duration of 120 seconds. A candidate needs to appear for AST, a separate notification will be sent to the candidate for the same.

Avantika University offers Bachelor of Design (B.Des) of four-year time duration for the candidates pursuing their career in Design. The minimum eligibility required is 10+2 with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

Candidates seeking admission to B.Des program are invited to appear in DAT (Design Aptitude Test) conducted by Avantika University, Ujjain and MIT Institute of Design, Pune. Final selection is done on the basis of DAT score, Studio Test Score and 10th and 10+2 performance. The decision of selection for Studio Test will be taken on the basis of DAT scores. Applications will be accepted online only.

Avantika University M.Des Admission 2020

At the Master’s level, the university offers Master of Design (M.Des) for a duration of two-year in three specializations. Candidates need to have at least 50% marks in all the subjects in graduate (10+2+3) level to meet the eligibility of M.Des.

Candidates seeking admission to M.Des program are invited to appear in DAT (Design Aptitude Test) conducted by Avantika University and MIT Institute of Design, Pune. Final selection is done on the basis of DAT score, Studio Test Score and 10th and 10+2 performance. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Studio Test on the basis of DAT scores.

Avantika University B.Arch Admission 2020

B. Arch is a five-year program with a Design Thinking approach to creating social transformation through education by considering mathematics, science & engineering fundamentals. It has been developed after considering industry requirements. 

The eligibility criteria for B.Arch is that candidate must have done 10+2 from any state boards/ CBSE/ ICSE/ ISC/ CIE/ IB/ NIOS or equivalent exam with 50% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The selection process in B.Arch is the valid score of National Aptitude Test in Architecture NATA or JEE

Key Note: After the application process, shortlisted candidates will appear for personal interview through Skype. Status of application will be communicated after the evaluation of all the parameters.

Applications to this university are invited through online mode only. Candidate need to follow the given steps which are given below. 

1. Visit the official website of the university and register online through the link given on the website.  
2. An automated verification link will be sent to the candidate’s registered email ID.
3. Next, the candidate can activate their account by clicking the link and provide the required details in the admission application form.
4. Upon submitting the online form, candidates must proceed to pay the application fee through Net Banking/ Credit or Debit Card/ Demand Draft.
5. Application Fees: INR 3000 (plus tax per program)
6. For B.Des & M.Des, upon acceptance of form, the candidate will be provided hall ticket to appear for DAT.
7. In B.Tech, the candidate also needs to register for AST by booking the time slot and booking date.
