Bombay Flying Club is one of the pioneers and oldest institute of India. It was established in the year 1928 and since then it has given renowned professional pilots to the industry. The institute has a history where Late Mr. J.R.D Tata the father of aviation was first to get a pilot license in February 1929. Living legend Mrs. Rabia Futhelly is the first woman pilot to obtain a pilot license from this institute. Now she is the part of the managing committee of the Bombay flying club. 

The institute is located at the western end of Juhu which is a kind of the center of Mumbai City. The institute provides the best practical theoretical knowledge during the course. It has a trained aircrew who are working as captains and engineers for domestic and international airways.

Bombay Flying Club - Fees Structure, Admissions, and Courses

• Bombay Flying Club fees structure varies from courses to courses. 
• It is to be noted that Bombay Flying Club fees once paid will not be refunded. 
• Bombay flying club fees for pilot training may go till INR 8 to 10 lac P/A. This is because a Pilot course in the aviation industry is expensive requires a lot of technicalities and has skilled trainees.
• Bombay flying club PPL fees, AME and CPL go till INR 60,000 and above P/A.

Bombay Flying Club Pilot Training 

Bombay Flying Club is an approved by the Director-General of Civil Aviation (Govt. of India) specially permitted for disseminating training to pilots. The institute has different kinds of fleets for training. The institute offers courses like:

• Student’s Pilot License – This license is obtained when a person wants to become a licensed pilot in preparation for the advanced training program.
• Commercial Pilot License- This is 200 hours flying training for 8 to 10 months after successful training you get a commercial pilot license.
• Private Pilot License- It is given after 3 to 4 months of training. On completion of this course, the person becomes eligible to fly aircraft carrying passengers or cargo but not for hire, reward or remuneration.

• Must have attained a minimum of 60% marks.
