Admission Criteria For UG Courses:
- Admission to courses such as B.Com (Hons), B.P.Ed, and BHM is done on the basis of entrance test conducted by the University.
- For B.Tech, KEAM scores are required.
- For UG Medical Courses, namely, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, candidates are selected on the basis of their marks in NEET UG followed by counseling.
- For admission to the rest of the UG courses, candidates need to appear in UG CAP round, a centralized counseling process as per their marks in 10+2.
Eligibility Criteria For PG Courses:
- Admission to certain specializations of MA and M.Sc along with MSW, M.Li.Sc, MCA, M.Com, M.P.Ed MTA is offered on the basis of an entrance test conducted by the university.
- For admission to the rest of the PG courses, candidates need to appear in PG CAP round, a centralized counseling process as per their marks in Graduation.
- Calicut University conducts the Calicut University Management Aptitude Test (CU MAT) to offer admission to MBA in both full-time and part-time modes.

Calicut University Campus
The campus at the University is designed according to the needs of the modern era. The campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled with 8 MBPS of high-speed internet facility. Also, the University has a Biometric Punching System with an electronic ID card.
- Library: The Calicut University library plays an important role in the provision of information to the academic community in the Malabar region. It has a collection of about 95,000 books and subscribes to 218 Journals and 16 Newspapers. It has the distinction of being the first fully computerized University Library in the state of Kerala. A list of new books added to the library collection is brought out regularly and sent to all the teaching departments of the university.

Calicut University UG Admission 2020: BA, B.Sc, BCA, BBA, B.Com, B.P.Ed, BHM, BSW, B.LI.Sc, BTA & B.Ed
Admission to undergraduate courses at Calicut University starts in the month of April, every year. Most of the undergraduate courses are offered in constituent and affiliated colleges of the university. To be eligible for any of the undergraduate program, one needs to have passed 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks in aggregate except for BA, B.Sc. and BCA, for which you need to have a minimum aggregate of 45% marks.
Admission to all the UG courses except for B.P.Ed, B.Com (Hons.) and BHM are based on a Centralized Admission Process (UG CAP) conducted by the university. In this process, the candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their marks in the qualifying examination. UG CAP is a counseling process conducted for the shortlisted candidates.
Calicut University conducts separate entrance tests to offer admission in BHM, B.P.Ed (Integrated), B.P.Ed and B.Com (Hons.) courses.

- The entrance test for B.Com (Hons.)/ B.P.Ed and BHM courses is a two-hour test with objective and descriptive type questions. 1/3 marks are deducted for a wrong answer in the case of objective type questions only. The test is conducted at different examination centers located at , Ernakulam Thrissur.
- For B.Ed Courses, candidates who have passed their qualifying examination from the universities located outside Kerala should submit equivalency certificate issued by the University of Calicut.
- For B.Ed, 20 % of the total seats in Government Colleges are reserved for the teachers working in Schools in the Government Sector.

- Pay the application fees of INR 265 (INR 105 for reserved courses) through Calicut University Instant Web Payment System (CUIWPS) or from SBI Banking or e-challan or Akshaya Centres or Friends Janasevana Kendram. fee for B.Ed is INR 525.
- Select course and college. Take the printout of duly filled form; Student Copy and College Copy.
- Retain the student copy and submit the college copy to the respective college in which you are seeking permanent admission.
