Centurion University was established in the year 2005. The institute's governing body took over the Jagannath Institute for Technology and Management (JITM). In 2010, JITM was converted into Centurion University of Technology and Management. Since then, it is considered as one of the best private universities in Odisha. It has two campuses at Vizianagaram and Paralakhemundi in Jatni. The institute was awarded the Grade A by the NAAC. CUTM is ranked among the best universities in India by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. Undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programs are offered by the institute.

Further, different schools include the School of Management, School of Engineering & Technology, School of Agricultural Science, School of Basic Sciences and School of Vocational Education & Training. Courses such as BBA, B Tech, B Com, M Tech and MBA are available at the institute.

CUTM Admission Process

For admission to  B Tech in computer science, electronics and communication, aerospace and agriculture, the minimum marks that have to be obtained in class 12th is 50% aggregate.

Along with this, the candidates have to clear CUEE/JEE/WBJEE or other equivalent exams to be selected. To get admission to B Sc in cardiac technology, radiology, pharmacy and medical laboratory technology, a student needs to secure at least 50% marks in class 12 with biology as a subject. Admission is based on the CUTM entrance test.

MBA aspirants have to secure a valid score in any national level entrance test or the test conducted by the university. MBA in Development Management and Data Analytics also have the same eligibility criteria.

CUTM Placements

The Training and Development Cell of the institute is responsible for arranging activities related to placements and training of students. Life Skill Development classes are arranged for imparting communication and personality development skills. Training is given for successfully clearing quantitative aptitude tests, logical reasoning, English communication and presentation skills. Mock interviews and technical tests are arranged for them too.
