CEPT University UG Courses
- To be eligible for Bachelor of Architecture, the candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects with the minimum aggregate score of 50% marks from CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/ISB/IB. Scoring minimum required marks in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is mandatory to get admission.
- To be eligible for Bachelor of Urban Design, candidate must have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination from any stream with minimum aggregate score of 50% marks from CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/ISB/IB or candidate must have passed Diploma of any stream with 50% aggregate marks from UGC recognized college/university.
- To be eligible for Bachelor of Construction Technology and Bachelor of Interior Design, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with the minimum aggregate score of 50% marks from CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/ISB/IB.
- To be eligible for Bachelor of Design (Building Products and Systems/Furniture), the candidate must have passed 10+2 with (Science, Commerce and Arts/Humanities) with a minimum aggregate score of 60% for all subjects from State boards or CBSE/CISCE/NIOS/ISB/IB.
CEPT University PG Courses
- To be eligible for Master of Architecture and Master of Landscape Architecture, the candidate must have passed B.Arch. or its equivalent from COA recognized institution with minimum 55% marks. Also, two years of experience is desirable.
- To be eligible for Master of Landscape Design, the candidate must hold a Master’s degree in any of the disciplines of natural sciences. With this, the candidate must be done 4 years Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design or Planning from recognized universities. Candidate must have scored 55% marks in the qualifying degree and two years teaching experience along with computer drawing skills like CADD software are desirable.
- To be eligible for Master of Urban and Regional Planning, the candidate must have obtained Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Environmental Engineering/Civil Engineering/Planning/Law or Master’s degree in Economics/Geography/Sociology and other related fields.
- To be eligible for the M.Tech program, the candidate must have scored minimum 55% marks in Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. To seek admission in M.Tech in Geomatics, the candidate is required to meet the stated criteria with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in 10+2.
- To be eligible for Master of Design (Furniture Design), International Master of Interior Architectural Design and Master of Habitat Management, the candidate must have done Bachelor with minimum required marks in the relevant field.
CEPT University Doctoral Programs

CEPT University also offers Full-time M.Tech and M.Des programs in various disciplines at PG level M.Tech program involves Students Exchange programs to enhance the learning experience. Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline is the minimum eligibility criteria.

CEPT offers M.Arch and various Master’s programs in the field of Urban Planning, Urban Design, Urban Management, Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design and Housing & Transport. M.Arch admissions are granted on the basis of Academic Score, Course Purpose, Recommendation followed by an Interview. CEPT University offers B.Arch, BID, BUD & BCT courses at UG level. 50% seats in all UG courses except for BUD are filled on the basis ACPC guidelines and 50% on the basis of regulations set by CEPT University. The minimum eligibility criteria is 10+2 in the relevant stream.
50% seats in B.Arch are filled on the basis of NATA score. 50% seats in BID, BUD and BCT courses are filled on the basis of a valid score in CEPT Admission Test.

CEPT University Application Process for B.Arch, BID and BCT Courses: Students need to apply separately for the seats to be filled by ACPC and on All India Basis. For the seats to be filled by ACPC, the candidates need to apply online from the official website on payment of INR 500 as application fee. CEPT University M.Phil & Ph.D. Admission 2020
CEPT University also offers M.phil & Ph.D. programs at Doctorate level in the field of Planning and Architecture. Admissions are generally conducted in two cycles, i.e., Monsoon Semester and Spring Semester in the months of July and January respectively.
Admission is granted on the basis of CEPT Entrance Test followed by an Interview although GATE or GRE qualified candidates are also eligible to apply. Application form can be filled online on payment of INR 3500 as application fee.

CEPT University Scholarship Criteria 2020
CEPT University offers scholarships for UG and PG courses in terms of merit in the qualifying examination, score in CEPT Admission Test and income of parents. Students can apply for the scholarship pre admission and post admission.
Pre Admission: – This is means cum merit scholarship where students can avail the fee waiver of 25% – 75% on annual fee. For this students’ family income is less than 10 lakh per year. In order to recieve scholarship continuously students have to maintain passing record with atleast 2 CGPA and passing all the subjects in first attempt is mandatory.
Post Admission: – There are no. of scholarships and financial aid available after the admission based on academic performances, family income, teaching assistance etc.
