Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri, also known as CGC Jhanjeri, was established in 2012. It is an AICTE approved institution that is affiliated to PTU, Jalandhar. CGC Jhanjeri has a merit-based admission process for all courses. In cases where National level examinations are valid, admissions are done on the basis of score obtained in these examinations. Diploma holders are also eligible for admission in various courses. The application process for all programmes is conducted online as well as offline.

To keep up their vision of global recognition, CGC Jhanjeri brings the best when it comes to delivering quality education. For this purpose, technology has been put to wise use at CGC Jhanjeri by making the campus wifi enabled. Other infrastructural facilities at CGC Jhanjeri are:

Classrooms: All classrooms are equipped with modern teaching aids like LCD, NPTEL video courses, multi-media projectors.

Laboratories: CGC Jhanjeri has laboratories where students can learn the practical concepts of Engineering and many other subjects. The campus also has computer labs with the latest software and hardware installed in the computers.

Knowledge Resource Centres: With a capacity to accommodate more than 100 students at a time, CGC Jhanjeri has a computerised library making it convenient for students to read more. The library has subscriptions of national and international journals, magazines, national and regional dailies. The knowledge centre also includes a vast collection of Audio video material, NPTEL, DVDs and CDs.

Auditorium/Theatre: CGC has a start-of-the-art auditorium with air conditioner facilities. At any given point of time, the auditorium can accommodate 600+ guests. Here national and international industrial and cultural workshops are conducted.

Dispensary: CGC has an on-campus medical dispensary that provides free medicines to CGC students and staff 24*7. The institute has tie-ups with Fortis and Ivy Hospital, Mohali to address the medical needs of the students and teachers.

Hostel: CGC has separate on-campus hostels for girls and boys with all basic comforts. There is a hostel warden in each hostel to manage and supervise the hostel activities. Just like the campus, hostels are also wifi enabled. Students are also provided with laundry and gym facilities in each hostel.

Canteen and Cafeteria: The canteen and the cafeteria at CGC Jhanjeri serves lunch, snacks and beverages at reasonable rates. Both teachers and students can access the facility and at a time around 500 people can be accommodated in the cafeteria.

Restaurant: CGC has recently launched a restaurant with a grand ambience for who regularly visit for Placement Drives, Workshops, Seminars, Symposiums.

Gym: Giving health the topmost priority, CGC Jhanjeri has on-campus gym facility. The gym has instructors to guide the students and teachers who use the gym.

Sports Facilities: CGC encourages students to participate in sports activities. CGC Jhanjeri Scholarships

CGC Jhanjeri offers multiple scholarships and financial assistance to the students. Students can avail upto 100 per cent scholarships at both UG and PG level. The various scholarships offered at the institute are:

• On the basis of National level examinations: Students with meritorious performance in JEE Main, CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT or other national level examinations.
• UG Scholarships: Students with 75% or above marks in Class 12 can avail upto 100% scholarship
• PG Scholarships: Students with 75% or above aggregate in graduation are eligible for scholarships upto 100%
• LEET Courses Scholarships: Students with 75% or above aggregate in diploma are eligible for scholarships upto 100%
• Sports Scholarships: National-level players get 100% scholarship while state-level players get 50% scholarship on tuition fee
