CMJU was established in 2009 by an Act of Meghalaya State Legislature. CMJU has been awarded the status of State Private University by UGC. CMJU offers a gamut of courses at UG, PG, and doctoral level. Furthermore, it also offers diploma courses.

CMJ University Admission Process
CMJU admission process is held twice a year. Applicants need to download the form from the website and fill it in their handwriting. Furthermore, all the supporting documents should be enclosed along with the application form and documents must be attested by a Notary public or by the Head of the Institution last attended.
CMJU conducts its entrance exam for professional courses. Group Discussion and Personal Interviews are conducted for admitting students in MBA, MPhil, BTech and MTech programmes.
