Learning at CMS Business School is delivered by highly accomplished faculty who possess a wide range of expertise. The faculty are accomplished researchers with numerous publications in journals of national and international repute, and have actively contributed to business and industry academia through participation in conferences and seminars. In addition to full-time faculty, the teaching is complemented by a panel of distinguished and experienced visiting faculty as well as renowned industry practitioners.

Blended pedagogy

The comprehensive learning methodology at CMS Business School is deeply reflective of curriculum that is rigorous, relevant, contemporary and progressive. The learning methodology is experiential with a focus on the application of concepts. Interactive lectures, case study analysis, classroom projects and exercises, class simulations and games, group presentations, analysis of contemporary articles from refereed journals, field projects, company visits and activity labs are some of the pedagogical tools used in delivering subjects.

Learner-centered entrepreneurship ecosystem

Entrepreneurship and innovation are fundamental pillars of Jain (Deemed-to-be University). CMS Business School through its academic programs provides an engaging platform for business innovators and new venture creation. The offerings combine academic and applied aspects of entrepreneurship, ranging from enterprise development, capital formation, policy creation, product analysis, to strategy building. The programs are a unique blend of entrepreneurship and management courses, designed with a focus on real-world practice and active learning.

The Chenraj Roychand Centre for Entrepreneurship (CRCE) of Jain (Deemed to- be University) provides an opportunity and support to create an enterprise from the ground up. It helps students to get an overview of entrepreneurial and intrapreneurial processes, learning how to conceive and develop a business idea, as well as to transform a company through innovation.

The Industry on Campus program

The MBA is more than an industry-relevant program. It is an “Industry on Campus “program. The student works real-time and gets a hands-on industry experience while studying at CMS Business School.

Leadership Project

During the third semester, selected students have the opportunity to participate in the Leader Project conducted by Jain (Deemed to-be University) in collaboration with the world’s top ranked Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, Canada. The leader project is an exclusive benefit with an official certification from both Jain (Deemed-to-be University) and Richard Ivey School of Business for future managers and entrepreneurs providing a unique networking forum to promote cross-cultural and linguistic exchange supported by lectures and Ivey-based case study exercises. The Richard Ivey faculty visit Bengaluru to deliver the program at the CMS Business School campus.

International Faculty

The MBA Inc. provides exposure to a panel of distinguished International faculty who visit Bengaluru and conduct courses / deliver lectures to students. The faculty includes: Dr. Guy Fournier -Pforzheim University, Germany; Dr. George Harada - Hiroshima University of Economics, Japan; Dr. Antonio Robalo - ISCTE,Lisbon, Portugal; Dr. Jean Michel Quentier - ESCBretagne, France; and Ms. Lianne Foti -University of Guelph, Canada.

International Student Exchange Program

The MBA Inc. program offers students access to international student exchange programs with more than 22 countries across the world through the NIBES Network of which Jain (Deemed-to-be University) is a member. MS Business School has access to the partner universities from several countries such as: Argentina-Columbia- Denmark-France-Georgia-Germany- India-Indonesia-Japan-Jordan-Mexico-Peru-Poland-Portugal-Russia-Slovenia-Turkey-USA and Venezuela.
