Founded by Late Dayananda Sagar in the 1960s, the Dayananda Sagar Institutions came to be known as pioneering institutions in the fields of sciences, arts and commerce. In an attempt to meet the standards of higher education, the Dayananda Sagar University was built on this legacy in 2014. The private university, located in Bangalore, Karnataka, offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses and executive programmes.

It boasts of the following schools offers various courses, including engineering, applied sciences, commerce and management, arts and humanities, health sciences and executive education. Course fees range from around Rs. 1 lakh per year to Rs. 3 lakh per year, varying with the course chosen. A Bachelor in Business Administration costs Rs. 1,55,950 whereas an MBA costs Rs. 3,13,950.

DSU Bangalore Admission Process

Candidates who have secured 50% and above in the qualifying exam are eligible for admission to the undergraduate courses. However, they must have studied the subject in class XII to pursue it further. Similarly, candidates must be a graduate with an aggregate 50% or more to pursue a postgraduate course.

A Dayananda Sagar Test is conducted both online and offline from Feb-March every year, for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. A candidate who has taken the test has to pay a lower tuition fee than a non-DSAT applicant.
