Admission requirements Indian Students:
For Foundation Programs
- Partial completion of the All India Senior School Certificate at an approved level determined by Deakin College 10 + 1 with a 50% average.
- IELTS 5.5 (with no band score below 5) and also the extended foundation program IELTS 5.0 (with no band score below 4.5)
- Or TOEFL ibt 58 / TOEFL 196
For Diploma Programs
- Completion of the All India Senior School Certificate at an approved level determined by Deakin College 10 + 2 with a 60% average.
- Diploma: 5.5 (with no band score below 5.5)
- Or TOEFL ibt 58 / TOEFL 196
- Exception Diploma in Communication 6.0 (with no band score below 5.5)
- Or TOEFL ibt 65 / TOEFL 213
Masters Qualifying Program
- Completion of three-year post-secondary study qualification. These applications will be further assessed by the university.
- Masters Qualifying Program (Business and Law) has criteria - IELTS of 6 with no individual band score below 6.

Indian Students
Can apply in 2 modes:

Students are required to fill the duly filled form and upload the academic documents, passport, and other requested documents. The College Management will respond in 2-3 days in response to an application submitted.
- Can apply through University’s authorized agents.
For Domestic Students
- March Intake: Australian students should apply through the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC).
- June, October Intakes: Students can apply directly on a website or in person.

Accommodation varies at each campus but all are within walking distance of campus facilities.
On-Campus stay
This is only available at Melbourne campus, Geelong Waurn Ponds Campus as well as Geelong Waterfront campus. The classes are just walking distance away from all these locations.
Homestay
In a homestay students will get an opportunity to stay with an Australian family, besides understanding their culture and values the students won’t feel homesick also in such an environment.
Renting
Students can also choose to rent an apartment or room along with their friends. But the other costs like food, maintenance would be additional. Also, the students are supposed to follow the conditions of the lease contract signed by them at the time of taking the accommodation.

Various student hostels are available in this location and apartment-style accommodation is available for students to choose from. It can be taken in single or on a shared basis.
Accommodation for International Students Under 18 Years of Age

Living costs
It is variable for every individual and may range from AUD 14,000 - A$20,000. It includes Accommodation, Transport, Entertainment, Food, Clothing, and Textbooks.
Financial Aid (Scholarships)
- Navitas Family Bursaries: It applies where two or more students from the same family study at a Navitas institution. The amount is equivalent to 10% of the tuition fee for up to 8 units of study within one program.
- Student Academic Merit Scholarships: The College rewards students in the first trimester by giving them a scholarship for the final part of their Deakin College studies if they have scored well in the first trimester of the course.
- Deakin College India Excellence Scholarships: This Scholarship is awarded to selected high-achieving students who are offered a place at Deakin College in 2019.
- Deakin College Construction Management Scholarships: This is awarded to students who are offered a place in the Diploma of Construction Management in 2019.
