Hostel:

Presently, there are four in-campus boys' hostel viz. Raman, Bose, Bhabha and Sarabhai with a total capacity of accommodating around 1,200 boys. University also has a separate in-campus Girl’s hostel viz, Sarojini and Kasturba, which can accommodate around 1,100 girls students put together.

Mess Facilities

The hostel premises comprise of separate dining facility in the Boys’ and Girls’ hostels. We have ‘Annapurna’, a multi-floor Mess for the boys with a modern kitchen, which caters for more than 1200 students. Kasturba Girls Hostel has a separate dining hall and well equipped kitchen which caters for 1100 girls.The menu is decided by the Students Mess Committees. The food served is of high quality and meets the quality standards as laid down under FSSAI/FSMS/HACCP/ISO22000/GMP/GHK. Special consideration is given to provide a well-balanced, nutritional diet with varying food tastes.

Medical Facilities

DIT University has well equipped functional Infirmary which caters for the First Aid and limited out patient medical services of the DIT University staff and students. The Infirmary is run and managed under the guidance of qualified and experienced doctors of the prestigious Max Super Speciality Hospital Dehradun. A Lady Medical Officer is available on campus during the better part of the day and Nursing Staff and Ambulance are available 24×7. Apart from Max Super Speciality Hospital, we have a tie up with few other prominent hospitals of the city which provide OPD, IPD treatment and diagnostics at discounted rates.

Tech (LE) and Diploma admissions are completely merit-based.

Key Points:

• Direct admission for class 12th toppers who have scored 95% or more.
• 40% seats are reserved for Uttarakhand Domicile, 50% seats are reserved for All India Candidates and 10% for NRI / Industry Sponsored students.
• For B.Tech (LE), 40% seats are reserved for Uttarakhand Domicile and 60% for All India Candidates.

DIT University UG Admission 2020: B.Arch, B.Pharm, B.Sc, BCA, BA & B.Des

At UG level, the university B.Arch, B.Pharm, B.Sc, BCA, BA & B.Des courses along with a lateral entry in B.Pharm and D.Pharm. 10+2 in the relevant subject group is the minimum eligibility criteria for these courses. B. Arch admission is offered on the basis of a good score in NATA or JEE Main (paper 2).

For all other courses, the candidates are shortlisted for the counseling round as per their marks in 10+2.

Key Points:

• 40% seats in all the UG courses are reserved for Uttarakhand Domicile, 50% seats are reserved for All India Candidates and 10% for NRI / Industry Sponsored students.

DIT University M.Tech, M.Pharm & M.Sc Admission 2020

DIT University also offers M.Tech, M.Pharm and M.Sc courses in various disciplines along with PG diploma course in Health Safety & Environment. BE/ B.Tech/ M.Sc or MCA degree holders can apply for M.Tech while B.Pharm can apply for M.Pharm.

GATE/ NET OR GPAT score holders can apply for M.Tech and M.Pharm courses respectively while merit is the only criteria for admission to M.Sc course.

DIT University MBA & MCA Admission 2020

At the postgraduate level, DIT University also offers MBA and MCA (LE) for the duration of two and three years respectively. Graduation in the related discipline is mandatory for admission.

CAT/MAT/ XAT or CMAT score is required for admission to MBA courses. MCA admission is merit-based.

Key Point: Final selection to MBA will be done on the basis of performance in Group Discussion & Personal Interview.

DIT University Ph.D. Admission 2020

At the doctoral level, the university offers a Ph.D. program to the students with the relevant master’s degree with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate. A valid score in GATE/ SLET or NET is required for admission. The university also conducts DUET followed by an interview for Non-GATE/ Non-SLET/ Non-NET candidates. Interview round is mandatory for all the candidates seeking admission to Ph.D.
