EMDI’s journey began in 2002 in Mumbai, the entertainment hub of India, with a vision to offer industry-relevant, career-focused, courses in media and entertainment sector – Event Management, Advertising, Public Relations and more.

EMDI embodies ‘Of the Industry, by the Industry, for the Industry!’ Our courses are designed to enhance employability of today’s youth through Vocational training and industry-relevant courses, with curriculum developed in conjunction with industry stalwarts. These Courses are a combination of classroom sessions and live industry experience; with an in-house dedicated team having relevant industry experience to Mentor and Nurture young talent, It is no wonder that our students are doing very well in their chosen careers.

The EMDI journey overflows with memorable moments and magical milestones. Over 7,500 alumni in the Media and Entertainment sector, of which several are at senior positions with some of the largest event management companies, are milestones we have achieved via our Event Management Courses.

Advertising and Public Relations courses are offered to graduate with commitment, and continue to live up to our motto: Educate Motivate Develop Inspire.

We also offer sports management courses as, “Post Graduate Diploma in Sports Management” for graduates aspiring to make a career in the exciting world of sports.

We are also very proud to say that we have been working towards the Central Government’s initiative of Vocational Training and Skill Enhancement for the youth of the country.

EMDI is the only institute in India to be associated with the prestigious EEMA (Entertainment & Event Management Association).
