For taking admission in undergraduate programmes of engineering, the candidates have to appear for HITSEE. It is an online entrance examination and is conducted every year. For the postgraduate programmes in engineering, an entrance test is conducted. Based on the marks in the test, they will be called for group discussions. They also have to give interviews. For other undergraduate courses in arts and science, the institute sets up minimum eligibility criteria. The application forms should be filled up by the eligible candidates and submitted. The candidates who reside outside India are also eligible to apply to the institute.
