IIT Delhi Admission 2020: Ph.D. Admission, Application process

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi is a public engineering institution located in Delhi. It was established in 1961 as an institute of national importance. It offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, M.Des and Ph.D. programs in various disciplines. IIT Delhi also offers Integrated/ Dual-Degree programs at UG and PG levels. IIT Delhi Admission Highlights

IIT Delhi M.Tech & M.Des Admission 2020

The institute offers M.Tech, M.Sc and M.Des programs in various disciplines at PG level. BE/ B.Tech/ M.c or equivalent degree holders are eligible to apply for M.Tech program.

M.Tech admission will be offered under Direct mode (75% marks in the qualifying degree along with GATE score>= 300) or on the basis of Written Test/ Interview for the student with at least 60% marks in BE/ B.Tech or M.Sc along with GATE score>=300.

M.Des admission will be offered under Direct mode (75% marks in the qualifying degree along with CEED score>= 75) or on the basis of Written Test/ Interview for the student with at least 60% marks in BE/ B.Tech or B.Arch along with GATE score>=75.

Application form for M.Tech program can be filled online on payment of INR 360 (INR 700 for combination of two subjects) in the form of DD. Send the DD along with the application form to ‘Assistant Manager (Academics), A-107, Academics Building, IIT Delhi, Okhla Industrial Estate, Phase III, New Delhi-110020’.

Key Points:

• For M.Tech & M.Des. programs, relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying degree will be offered to the categories of SC/ST & PH.
• For M.Tech & M.Des. courses, students who have passed B.Tech from any IIT with CGPA of 8.0 will be exempted from the requirement of GATE/ CEED score.
• Candidates with IETE or AMIE qualifications are also eligible to apply for M.Tech provided they have qualified for GATE/ CEED.
