M.S. Ramiah University of Applied Sciences was founded in the year 2013. The State of Karnataka passed an act that laid the foundation of this university. It is a private university that has been approved by UGC. It is financially supported by the Gokula Education Foundation Trust. M.S. Ramiah College of Hotel Management, M.S. Ramiah Dental College, M.S. Ramiah College of Pharmacy and M.S. Ramiah Advanced Learning Centre have been integrated to form this university. It has established campuses at three places of India – Bangalore, Mathikere and Peenya. 

It offers undergraduate programmes in design, pharmacy, dental surgery, hotel management, science subjects like business administration physics, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, statistics, electronics, commerce subjects like accounting & finance, different disciplines of engineering like aerospace, mechanical, automotive, electrical and electronics, civil, electronics and communication, and computer science. The university offers a BSc honours degree in biotechnology, food processing and technology, dialysis therapy technology, medical radiology and imaging technology, operation theatre technology, optometry, sports and exercise science, cardiac care Technology. It offers postgraduate programmes in pharmacy, design, business administration, technology, dental surgery, physics, chemistry, maths, commerce, life & allied health sciences, MPhil programme, PhD programme, MS (by research) programme.

M.S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (MSRUAS) Admission Process

For admission into BTech, BPharm., PharmD programme, the candidate needs to qualify the MAH-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test) taken by the Karnataka Examination Authority. A candidate needs to secure qualifying marks for taking admission in the following programmes like BDes., BHM, BSc Hons. (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics, BBA). For admission into BSc (Hons.) (Food Processing and Technology, Dialysis Therapy Technology, Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology, Operation Theatre Technology, Optometry, Sports and Exercise Science, Cardiac Care Technology) courses along with marks in SAT, the candidate has to qualify the admission test conducted by the university. The application forms for all the courses are available on their official website. After downloading it, all the necessary details should be filled and submitted. Over the years, the University has registered a good placement record.
