National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a pioneer institute in the field of fashion technology.  NIFT has 16 campuses spread across the country. National Institute Of Fashion Technology (NIFT), Raebareli was established in 2002. The institute is located in Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. NIFT Raebareli has been approved by AICTE. It is a public institute. NIFT Act 2006 published in the Gazette of India on 14th July 2006 confers Statutory Status on the institute.
NIFT Raebareli offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in fashion technology. Admissions at NIFT Raebareli to these courses are conducted every year.
Students have participated in exchange programmes at Swiss Textile College, Zurich, Switzerland and NABA, Milano from NIFT Raebareli. The institute aims to forge a strong global connect and offer international academic exposure to its students.

Undergraduate Courses

B.Des (Bachelor Of Design) It is a four-year full-time course. It is offered in the following specializations-

• Fashion Design (FD)
• Accessory Design (AD)
• Leather Design (LD)
• Fashion Communication (FC)
  Eligibility- The candidate should have completed or appeared for 10+2 qualifying examination or equivalent from any recognized Board, OR, Completed/Appearing for 3 or 4-years diploma final examination recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education. The candidate needs to have a valid score in the NIFT exam.

Postgraduate Courses

MFM (Master Of Fashion Management) It is a two-year full-time course.
Eligibility- The candidate is required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized Institute/University, OR, Undergraduate Diploma of minimum 3-years duration in any discipline from NIFT/NID. The candidate should have a valid score in the NIFT exam.

Certain Continuing Education (CE) Programmes are also offered at NIFT, Raebareli.

Student development is the key priority at NIFT. A considerable amount from the NIFT Development Fund is used for scholarships every year. The institute offers Merit-cum-Means Financial assistance scheme to avail subsidized tuition fee at every Campus. The scholarships are determined by the parental income, henceforth the students can fall into three slabs of monetary assistance.
