PESU Admissions

PESSAT Exam

PESSAT Stands for PES (Peoples Education Society) Scholastic Aptitude Test. PESSAT Exam is conducted to offer admission to the students in the following programs such as: B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, BBA, MBA, etc.

• Registration for the same open every year in the month of October.
• PESSAT is conducted for B.Tech in the month of April-May. 
• For programs other than for BTech, PES University, Bangalore is the only Test Centre.
• A Candidate can take PESSAT Exam only once in a year.
• There is no negative marking in PESSAT.

PESU Scholarship 

• MRD Scholarships: 40% Tuition Waiver for Top 20%.
• Top 10% of students in 6 semesters will get a Travel grant. 
• Top 10% of students in 8 semesters will get International Internship.
• Prof. CNR Rao Scholarships: 50% Tuition waiver fee for top 50%.
• Distinction Award: If a student secures a CGPA of 7.5 and above for a particular year, then he/she would receive cash prize money as a distinction award.

• Library: Central Library, PES University was established in 1988 with a modest number of books and other documents. PES University Admission 2020: MBA, B.Tech, BBA, Process, Dates

PES University (PESU) is a private university in Bengaluru, India. Established in 1972, it is focused on four main educational areas: Engineering, Medicine, Management and Life Sciences.

The institutions offer both foundation courses in these areas, as well as specialization with a Bachelors/ Master/Ph.D. degree. PES University (PESU) offers various courses at undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels with various specialization subjects.

Admission to all the regular courses is through PESSAT or CET examination. The university considers the marks obtained by the candidates in their previous qualifying examination and in the PESSAT examination for preparation of the merit list for various courses.

PESU offers B.Tech courses with 7 different specializations. The engineering degrees also include B.Tech. double specialization, Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech. courses with a number of specialization subjects.

For admission to all the undergraduate courses offered at PESU, all the candidates need to sit for PESSAT and based on the academic score of the candidates as well as the score in the entrance test, the final merit list for the candidates is prepared.

Besides PESSAT and CET, the test scores of UCEED, PGCET, MAT, CMAT, CAT, GMAT, GRE, and other few other National level exams are considered. The exams considered are subject to the decision of PES University.

For the MBBS degree, the candidates need to appear for NEET Entrance Exam and the merit list is prepared considering the marks obtained in NEET as well as in the previous qualifying examination.

PES University PG Admission 2020

PES University offers a plethora of courses at the postgraduate level under which includes M.E./M.Tech., M.Sc., M.B.A., M.C.A., M.Com., M.Pharm., M.D., M.S. degrees under various specialization subjects.

The M.D. course is offered under clinical, pre-clinical and para-clinical streams with a number of various specializations. The M.E./M.Tech. the course is offered under 13 different streams. All these courses are offered for a duration of two years.

For admission to the M.E./M.Tech. programs, a candidate needs to sit for PESSAT / PGCET (Post Graduate Common Entrance Test) which is followed by the Interview on the same day of the test on the university campus.

For M.D. and M.S. degrees, the candidates need to appear for NEET Entrance Exam and the merit list is prepared considering the marks obtained in NEET as well as in the previous qualifying examination.
