PES University (PESU), established in 1972, is situated in Bangalore, the Silicon Valley of India. The University was formerly known as the PES Institute of Technology, it was renamed in 2013 where it attained University status by the Government of Karnataka. PESU Admissions
PESU offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees in fields of Engineering, Medical, Management, and Science. Admissions are offered through an entrance exam. Candidates applying for the Ph.D. courses need to go through the PESSAT Research Selection Process, and candidates are shortlisted for the interview rounds based on the results of PESSAT.

- Payment of fees is to be made online through master/visa debit/credit cards and net banking.

PESSAT Exam
PESSAT Stands for PES (Peoples Education Society) Scholastic Aptitude Test. PESSAT Exam is conducted to offer admission to the students in the following programs such as: B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, BBA, MBA, etc.
- Registration for the same open every year in the month of October.
- PESSAT is conducted for B.Tech in the month of April-May.
- For programs other than for BTech, PES University, Bangalore is the only Test Centre.
- A Candidate can take PESSAT Exam only once in a year.
- There is no negative marking in PESSAT.
Registration Fees: INR 1050 (INR 550 for HN Campus)
PESU Scholarship
- MRD Scholarships: 40% Tuition Waiver for Top 20%.
- Top 10% of students in 6 semesters will get a Travel grant.
- Top 10% of students in 8 semesters will get International Internship.
- Prof. CNR Rao Scholarships: 50% Tuition waiver fee for top 50%.
- Distinction Award: If a student secures a CGPA of 7.5 and above for a particular year, then he/she would receive cash prize money as a distinction award.
