Poornima University Admission 2020: Courses, Eligibility, Placement, Fees

Poornima University is a private research university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It was established in the year 2012. It offers courses in Engineering & Technology, Commerce, Applied Sciences, Management, Design and Architecture at undergraduate, postgraduate and Doctorate level. There is a provision of admission to lateral entry & dual degree in B.Tech & B.Des courses.

Poornima University has initiated admission and the application forms are available online on the official website. Candidates can also apply offline by obtaining the application form from the University’s campus on payment through cash. The application process is the same for all UG and PG courses.

• For B.Tech admission, the university conducts its own entrance test (for 70% seats), however 15% seats each are filled on the basis of JEE Main and Merit at 10+2 level respectively.
• B.Arch admission is granted on the basis of a valid score in JEE Main paper II or NATA score.

Poornima University UG Admission 2020: B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Des, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Sc & BFA

Poornima University offers B.Tech, B.Arch., B.Design, BBA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA and BFA. Every course has its own eligibility criteria. For the course of B.Tech candidates can apply with JEE (Main) score and University Entrance Test. In case of B. Arch scores of NATA score or JEE paper 2 are required. There is a provision of lateral entry in courses of B.Tech and B. Design. The admission in the course of B.Tech is based on three categories:

Category A: 70% seats will be filled by candidates attempting Eligibility Exam/Entrance Test of the University.

Category B: 15% seats will be filled by candidates attempting JEE (Main)

Category C: 15% seats will be filled by candidates based on their score in class 12th (PCM).

Poornima University PG Admission 2020: M.Tech, MBA, M.Sc & M.Des

At the postgraduate level, Poornima University offers MBA, M.Sc, M.Tech and M.Des courses in different streams in full-time mode. BE/ B.Tech and B.Des degree is mandatory for admission to M.Tech and M.Des courses respectively.

B.Sc in the cognate discipline is required for admission to M.Sc while any graduate degree is sufficient for admission to MBA program. Admission to M.Tech is based on a valid score in GATE while Mba admission is offered on the basis of a valid score in CAT or CMAT. M.Sc and M.Des admission is based on candidates’ performance in the last qualifying examination.

Poornima University Scholarship Details 2020

Poornima University offers scholarships on limited seats to students enrolled in courses like B.Tech. Poornima University Ph.D. Admission 2020

The university offers a degree in Ph.D. in a number of research areas. Ph.D. program is offered in both full-time and part-time modes in the disciplines of Engineering, Management, Applied science, Commerce and Architecture. A full-time candidate has to reside in the university during the coursework while part-time candidate has to attend six months course compulsorily. Also, only full-time candidates are entitled for fellowship and university assistance. Engineering candidates can even opt for dual degree in M.Tech with Ph.D. in a relevant stream.

Poornima University Ph.D. Application Process 2020

Eligible candidates have to apply online on the university website/offline or purchase the form from the university. The application fee is INR 1200 that has to be paid via debit or credit card in online/offline mode or through DD drawn in favour of ‘Poornima University’, payable at Jaipur with the duly filled application form.

Candidates are then required to appear for the Ph.D. entrance test conducted by the University followed by a personal interview. Candidates with M.Phil degree or UGC/CSIR/GATE score are exempted from the entrance test.
