PEC Chandigarh Courses
The institute offers 8 Undergraduate B. Tech. Programs and 14 Postgraduate M. Tech. Programs in various disciplines of engineering and technology. After becoming University, it also started a Ph.D. program in various disciplines of engineering, science, management, humanities, and social sciences. The duration of B.Tech is 4 years, M.Tech 2 years and Ph.D. consists of 3 years of duration.
PEC Chandigarh Admission
Applicants who wish to apply can submit their applications on the official website of PEC Chandigarh. The basic eligibility for B.Tech is class 12 while for M.Tech applicants should have a graduate degree in relevant stream from a recognized university or institute.
For admission to B.Tech program, applicants need to appear for JEE Main exam. Admission to M.Tech course is done on the basis of valid GATE score. Shortlisted candidates on the basis of their marks obtained in JEE Main or GATE are called for interview round. Final selection is based on the overall performance of the candidate.
JEE Main
JEE Main (Joint Entrance Exam Main) is a national level online/offline test which is conducted by CBSE for admission to B.E./B.Tech & B.Arch courses. 10+2 is the minimum Eligibility for JEE Main. It is a gateway to various IITs, NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. While JEE Main Paper 2 is held for admission to B.Arch course. JEE Main Registration is done in online mode on the official website of exam.
GATE
Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level online exam conducted for admission to M.Tech and Ph.D. programs. The exam is conducted annually by IISc Bangalore and 7 IITs on a rotational basis. The minimum GATE Eligibility is a graduate degree in relevant stream. GATE 2019 is scheduled on February 02, 03, 09, and 10 2019. GATE Registration is done in online mode through the GOAPS website.

PEC Chandigarh Scholarship
- Half free-ship on tuition fee shall be admissible to all students belongs to ST/ SC category, who have cleared all their examinations up to a previous year and who are not on academic or disciplinary probation
- One student of each branch on the basis of branch-wise merit are awarded Scholarship Merit in the form of a full free ship on tuition fee
- Fee waiver for Economically Weaker Sections/Women/Persons with Disabilities students.

Library: Central Library has a collection of 1,19,830 volumes comprising of books, standards, theses, bound volume of journals pertaining to physical sciences, engineering, and technology, computer and information technology, social sciences and management.
Hostels: University has separate hostels for boys and girls. There are 6 hostels out of which 4 hostels are for boys and 2 for girls.
Festival: PEC Fest- It is an annual cultural fest, usually held in November.
Magazine: PECMAG- it is the institute’s magazine that is published once a year, consists of technical and literary articles contributed by students. It also contains memoranda for final year students.
