Punjabi University Courses and Admission
There are four different categories divided by the University for taking admission in different courses.
Category 1: Students opting for the following courses can take admission on the basis of merit in qualifying class. There will be no entrance test for them.
- M.A., M.Sc, MCA (Lateral Entry), M.P.Ed, MBA (International Business), M.Tech, B.A.(Hons) in Journalism, Mass Communication & Media Technology, M.A. (Hon's) In TV And Film Production (FYIC) Centre For Advanced Media Studies, B. Pharmacy, BPT And M. Sc. Hon's In Botany (FYIC) Certificate Courses And M. Tech.
Category 2: Students opting for following courses can take admission on the merit basis in the entrance test.
- M.Ed./M.Tech./LL.M/M.Sc. Hon's In Biotechnology And Microbial And Food Technology/MBA/M.Com. Hons/ M.Com & M.Com (Finance)/M.Sc. Hon's In Botany/ B.Sc. (Mathematics & Computing) And B.Sc. Hons In Mathematics/M.Sc. Mathematics and M.Sc. (Applied Mathematics & Computing)/M.Phil. & Ph.D.
Category 3: Students applying for following courses will require to submit an application and appear for the Interview.

Established in the year 1962. Punjabi University has fifty-five teaching and research departments covering under its umbrella, disciplines offered are Arts, Humanities & Sciences. The University has 20 regional Centers & Affiliated colleges with campus sprawling across 316 acres. Punjabi University offers admission either through Entrance exam or on the basis of qualifying degree merit.

- If the candidate finds any mistake in the form and wants to make correction then it can be done by clicking on Edit button, but this facility is available for a limited period of time.
- Take the printout of the Form and keep it for future reference.
Steps to Apply for UG Courses in Affiliated Colleges of Punjabi University:
- Submit the Online Application-cum-Admission Form through the official portal.
- Obtain the Login ID and Password on the registered mobile number.
- Use the student dashboard to select College/ Courses of your choice. A candidate can apply for 10 different Course-College combinations.
- Upon locking of choices, the application will be forwarded to the respective colleges.
- Once locked, choices cannot be edited. However, the list of college-course selection can be added in future also.
Note: A Non-Refundable, one time Online Application Processing charges of INR 150 (INR 100 for SC/ ST Candidates) -must be deposited at the time of admission in the concerned colleges.
