Reva University is a highly-ranked co-educational institution for research-based higher education in Bangalore. It was established in 2012 under Act 80 of Karnataka Government. Affiliated with the University Grants Commission (UGC), the university is a constituent of the Reva Group of Educational Institutions governed by the Rukmini Educational Charitable Trust. It also has affiliations from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). 

Reva University has six faculties that comprise 13 schools with about 18,000 students on the roll. It offers over 30 undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programmes in engineering, science, technology, architecture, management, law, arts and commerce.

Reva University Admission Process

A candidate can apply for the admission online by filling the form on the official website of Reva University. The admission to all the undergraduate programmes is based on the candidate's score in the entrance test conducted by the university. He or she must hold a minimum of 45% marks in the qualifying examination by a recognized board to be eligible for the admission. 

An applicant must have a valid CET, PGCET or COMED-K score for B.Tech admission. For admission in architecture programmes, a candidate must have a valid NATA score. GATE qualified candidates are eligible for applying to M.Tech programmes. The admission to management programmes is awarded based on a candidate's score in CAT or MAT.

The Training and Placement Cell of the university is responsible for ensuring job opportunities for students through on-campus placement. The cell maintains strong and profitable links with numerous business and research organizations. Its active list of recruiting partners includes over 250 companies. Top recruiters of the university include well-established names like Deloitte, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Infosys, Info Edge, Decathlon, Amazon, Berger, Philips, IBM, Tata Consultancy Services and Concentrix. More than 1220 jobs were offered to the students of Reva University in the year 2018-19, yielding 92% placement record. Average salary packages offered were between Rs 4.5 lakh to Rs 7 lakh, while the highest salary package was of Rs 21 lakh.

Reva University Scholarships

Reva University grants various scholarships to talented, meritorious and financially needy students under the following categories:

· The university offers merit-based scholarships to students coming from economically weaker sections to allow them to pursue higher education.

· It awards merit-based scholarships to postgraduation candidates with more than 85% score in CAT, MAT, PGCET and UG programmes.

· The university grants scholarships to students who are committed to social service and have won bravery awards.

· The university gives three scholarships to candidates with physical disabilities.

· A fee concession is granted to the students whose siblings are pursuing their studies at the university.

· It awards Uni-Gauge Scholarships to the students of B.Tech (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical and Electronics Engineering).

· The university grants Defence Scholarships to the children of defence personnel.
