• Pune University offers various courses at the Undergraduate level.
• The basic criteria to apply is Intermediate (10+2) from a recognized University with the minimum required marks.

Postgraduate Course Eligibility

• To apply to Postgraduate courses offered by Pune University, a candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/ Institute with minimum 50% marks.
• Applicants will be selected for an MBA program on the basis of marks in MAH CET conducted by DTE Maharashtra.
• Whereas, admission to other PG courses is based on the Entrance exam and Interview conducted by the University.

Savitribai Phule Pune University Admission Fee

Depending on the course you pick, its duration and other factors the admission fee varies. The fees amount for some of the courses are as given below:

• INR 1,21,250 for two years for the M.Tech course.
• The course fee for the MBA program is INR 1,30,000 for 2 years' duration.
• For three years of the MCA course at IGNOU, the total fee is INR 33,600.

Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) offers admission in more than 52 departments of various UG, PG & doctoral programs. It was established in the 1949 and is located in Pune, Maharashtra.

Pune University follows the entrance & without entrance schemes to provide admission in various PG courses. In case of entrance based admissions, the University releases the course wise merit lists followed by the counseling process.

Selection Process:

Pune University conducts an entrance cum performance test to provide admission in the BA program. For B.Sc, the students are selected on the basis of their marks in the qualifying exam. Admission to B.Sc. Biotechnology is done partly on the basis of merit and on the basis of entrance exam. Admission to B.Tech, B.Pharm and B.Arch is done on the basis of MHT CET. Admission to rest of the courses is done on the basis of merit.

Pune University Application Process 2020

The university offers online mode of application process through the official website. Here are the steps to apply online:

• Visit the official website of the university and click on Admission Portal.
• Click on PG Admissions or Ph.D. Admissions, accordingly.
• Now On One Campus page, click on the desired department course and then click on Login/Sign up.
• Register yourself by filling out all the details to create account.
• After successful registration, candidate will receive an email containing User Manuel and FAQs.
• Now login and click on Pre-Admission tab.
• Click on Create New Application and fill all the mandatory details carefully.
• Upload photograph and enter all the valid academic details, and click on Save and Proceed.
• Now, click on Print link to proceed for payment using Challan.
• Pay the challan at respective bank branch and after challan is received to the university, pay using ‘Card Payment’ option.
• Pay the application fees via credit/debit card.
• After successful payment, bank will update your payment status in one working day in one campus.
• Send the application and university challan copy to Head, Concerned Department, Savitribai Phule Pune University, Ganesh Khind Road, Pune 411007.
