Established in 2013, SGT University – also known as Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University - is a private institution in Gurugram, Haryana. The higher education institution is in partnership with several academic and research organisations like CISCO, IBM, Oracle, Binawan, Apple and NSE. This gives students access to various job opportunities in the organisations. The university focuses on the fields of engineering, management sciences and medicine. SGT University Admission Process 

Admission to various programmes at the university is based on the scores achieved in the qualifying examination. For admission to the technical courses, the candidates must secure good rankings in the JEE Main entrance examination. The cut-off is set by the admission authorities. After qualifying the entrance examination, the aspirants are called for a personal interview. Also, the candidates are supposed to attend a counselling round where they have to submit the required documents for verification by the Admission Committee. For both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, the candidates must have cleared their 10+2 with a minimum of 40% aggregate.

SGT University Scholarships

The university offers merit-based scholarships in the form of tuition fee concession at the time of admission. Several grants and awards are also provided with the scholarship for students who need financial support. Need-based scholarships are provided to students who belong to weak financial backgrounds. The scholarships provided to the students are first approved by the Finance Committee, Fee Committee, Governing Body, and the Board of Management. For merit-based cases, students are supposed to apply for the scholarships within one month after the declaration of their result.
