Shailesh J. Mehta School of Management Admission
Admission to MBA and EMBA is based on merit in the qualifying examination, Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds conducted by the institute. Candidates applying to such PG courses are also required to qualify in CAT.
For Ph.D., admission is granted on the basis of performance in the qualifying examination, WAT and interview conducted at the school’s level. Apart from the above-given parameters, a good score in CAT, GATE or GRE is also considered during the final admission.

- Candidate with Post Graduation Degree in relevant subject will be eligible for admission.
- B.E/B.Tech or equivalent degree with 60% marks with at least two years of work experience and
- Master of Management /ME/M.Tech/M.Pharma/M.Phil/2 years MBA or 2 years PG Diploma in Management from any institute recognized by a Government body (AICTE/UGC/AIU) with 60% marks.
- M.Sc/M.A/ M.Com/LLM/MCA or equivalent degree with 60% marks.
- CA with 60% marks/6.5 CPI (55% marks/6.0 CPI for SC/ST) in the preceding degree.

SJMSOM IIT Bombay Ph.D. Selection Process:
After applying for the program, shortlisted applicants will be called for a written test followed by an interview. The written test is based on the aptitude test. Aptitude test will cover four sections – English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Analytical Reasoning and Data Interpretation).
