Sharda University Admissions

Admissions at Sharda University are based on marks obtained by the applicant in the qualifying exam. Sharda conducts its own Entrance Exam called SUAT for the selection of students in all courses but if applicants have a valid entrance exam scorecard, they are exempted from SUAT.

• Applying students must register themselves at Sharda University.

Sharda University Admission 2020: Application form, Last Date

Sharda University is one of the pioneering private university located in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. It was started in 2009. The university offers B.Tech, B.Sc, B.Arch, B.Pharm, MBBS, BPT, BDS, B.A, B.Com, BBA and BCA courses at undergraduate level. At the postgraduate level, it offers M.Tech, M.Sc, M.Arch, MCA, MBA, MA, MDS, MD, MS and MDS courses.

Sharda University also offers Ph.D. programs in various disciplines at the Doctoral level. Application form for all the courses can be filled online or offline on payment of INR 1200 as the application fee.

• Admission to all the courses is based Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT), an online entrance test conducted by the university.
• For some courses, a valid score in equivalent State or National level entrance exam is also accepted. For such courses, the candidates are exempted from SUAT.
• Apart from SUAT, JEE Main or UPSEE qualified candidates are also eligible to apply for B.Tech program.
• For B.Arch admission, a valid score in National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is mandatory.
• For MBBS and BDS courses, 15% of the total available seats on all India basis are filled on the basis of a valid score in NEET UG while 85% seats under state quota are filled on the basis of UP NEET counselling as per the marks obtained in NEET UG.
• Along with SUAT, LSAT or CLATpassed candidates are also eligible for admission to LL.B, Integrated LL.B and LL.M courses.
• CAT/ MAT qualified candidates can apply for MBA program. Final admission is offered after evaluating candidates’ performance in GD and PI.
• UPSEE or GATE score is required for admission to M.Tech program.
• Candidates have to score good marks in NEET PG to secure admission in MD and MS courses.
• A valid score in NEET MDS is required for MDS program.
• Ph.D. admission is also based on SUAT followed by an interview. CSIR NET/ UGC NET or GATE qualified candidates are also eligible to apply.

Sharda University UG Admission 2020: B.Sc, BA, B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Des & B.Ed

Sharda University offers B.Sc, BA, BBA, BCA, B.Com, B.Des and B.Ed courses in various streams for at the undergraduate level. Candidates should have passed HSC with minimum of 50% to be eligible for these courses except for B.Ed for which a bachelor’s degree is required.

Admissions to all these UG courses are based upon the online entrance test, SUAT, conducted by the university. The merit list of the selected candidates is made available on the university website and campus.

Note:

• For BBA and B.Com courses, preference will be given to candidates with Commerce/Mathematics as one of the main subjects.
• University provides the chance of a foreign tour for academic purpose during the first semester of BBA dual specialization program.

Sharda University M.Sc, LL.M, MA, M.Des & MCA Admission 2020

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate to secure admission in MA, M.Sc, MCA, LL.M and M.Des courses at the postgraduate level.

Admission to all the courses is SUAT based. Apart from SUAT, candidates with a good score in LSAT/ CLAT are also eligible for admission to LL.M program and in the case of MCA, UPSEE score is also acceptable.

Important points:

• Candidates must have a score of 50 in CLAT for direct admission, otherwise, they will have to appear for SUAT.
• For admission to LLM, the candidate must be eligible for enrolment as an advocate in India with 50% marks.

Sharda University Application Process 2020

The application process is carried out in online and offline modes. The candidates have to follow the below-listed steps in order to apply for SUAT:

Offline Application Process:

1. Obtain the application form from the admission office of Sharda University or from any Regional Office.
2. Pay the application fee of INR 1200 in the form of challan from the nearest branch of Punjab National Bank or Axis Bank. Students can also submit the cash at the designated fee counter of Sharda University.
3. Send the duly filled application form along with fee receipt/ challan or DD (whatever applicable) to the university address:
