Shivaji University (SUK) is listed in the 101-150 rank band of NIRF 2019 rankings. The university also runs M.Sc. (Mathematics) through distance mode of education. To be eligible for admission applicant must hold a B.Sc. Degree from Shivaji University or any other recognized university. Those who have passed an examination of equivalent value with Mathematics as a main subject are also eligible to apply for the program.

Shivaji University Admission

The university conducts entrance examinations to select students for admission. For Undergraduate admissions, applicants are selected on the basis of merits in the qualifying examination. 

• Admission to the B.Pharm program is through the MHTCET entrance exam. 

For Postgraduate admissions, admission is via entrance exam. 

• The technological postgraduate courses require a valid GATE score.

For Ph.D. Admissions, applicants are selected on the basis of merit obtained through the entrance test conducted by the university. Also, applicants who have qualified UGC-CSIR-NET / SLET / SET / GATE /P.G.D.T.E./ BET/ GPAT examination do not have to appear for the entrance examinations. Such applicants will be directly called upon for the interview round.

How to apply?

Applicants must apply to visit the official website of the qualifying exam and register themselves for the examination (if required). The application fee is different for different courses.

1. For BE/ B.Tech & B.Pharm, the application fee is INR 800.
2. For M.Tech, the application fee is INR 1500.

Salary packages offered to Postgraduate students pursuing 2-year programs like MBA get placements ranging from 43 LPA to 55 LPA. Postgraduate program with 3 years of duration is next to 2 year PGs. Shivaji University conducts the semester examinations in the months of April/ May & November/ December every year. Shivaji University Results are released online on its official website only. The examination board of Shivaji University is responsible for all exam related activities including semester exams, assessment of answer scripts & the effective evaluation procedure. Every year, Controller of Examination, evaluate the performance of more than 3,00,000 students studying in more than 280 affiliated colleges located in Kolhapur, Sangli & Satara districts. Shivaji University Scholarships

Shivaji University is the first-ever University to offer scholarships to the Postgraduate and Undergraduate students of its affiliated colleges.
