- The establishment of three Veterinary Colleges, the first at Rajendra Nagar during 1946, the second at Bapatla during 1955 and the third at Gannavaram during 1998.
- The College of Veterinary Science, Tirupati has celebrated Golden Jubilee Year during July, 2004 to July 2005 and the year long Golden Jubilee Celebrations of the College were officially inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy on 30th September 2004.
- Tirupati campus have 4 storied independent building which was funded by ICAR to the tune of RS 15 Lakhs.
- It is spread over almost 5, 000 sections of land comprising of the Head Quarters and constituent institutions.

Hostel-The University provides hostel facilities for the needy students. There are separate hostels for boys and girls which come with their own canteens. A good quality food is served four times a day.
Auditorium- The University has a large auditorium which is used for events and festivals special occasions, convocations and cultural programmes.

- Exploited Embryo Transfer Technique in Ongole cattle.
- Developed 100 combinations of low cost Livestock and Fish rations using agro by products
- Developed ILR 90 Jubilee high feed conversion efficient layer strain of poultry
- Conservation and upgrading of Punganur cattle is being carried out through biotechnological approaches
