SRM (Sri Ramaswamy Memorial University) Engineering College is constituent of SRM University. SRM University is a co-educational private university founded in 1985 as SRM Engineering College. The institute gained deemed status in 2002 & was renamed to SRM Institute of Science and Technology. It turned into SRM University in 2006, when it achieved the status of a fully-developed university, under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.

• SRM University has an excellent placement record of graduating engineers with reputed companies. A total of 3689 offers were made by three companies on the first day
• In first day, visit of three reputed companies such as Cognizant, Infosys and Wipro.  Cognizant offered 1502 job offers, followed by 1105 offers by INFOSYS and then 1082 offers are from WIPRO. Salary range offered by most companies is from 3.0–3.5 Lakhs per annum.
• In addition, there are 50+ other companies who have recruited 600 students.  Some of the corporations have offered paid internship for about 200 graduating seniors.

Extracurricular Activities:-

SRM Engineering College, Kanchipuram  Admission 2020: Last Date, Scholarship

SRM University was founded in 1985. SRM Engineering College, Kanchipuram offers B.Tech, B.Arch., and B.Des. in various streams at UG level. It also offers M.Tech and M.Arch programs at the PG level.

• For B.Tech program, a 10+2 passa is required with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as major subjects from any recognized board.
• Students have to qualify in SRMJEEE (UG) to secure admission in B.Tech Programs.
• SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE UG) is a common test for SRM Group of Universities, viz. SRM University Tamil Nadu, SRM University, Haryana and SRM University, Andhra Pradesh.

SRM Engineering College, Kanchipuram  B.Tech, B.Des. & B.Arch Admission 2020

SRM Engineering College offers B.Tech and B.Arch programs in various specializations. SRMJEEE (UG) is mandatory for admission to B.Tech Programs. Candidates seeking admission must have completed the age of 17 years as on December 31 of the admission year.

The admission will be purely on the basis of the performance in SRMJEEE (UG) conducted by SRM University. However, their eligibility for admission is subject to ful­filling the requirement of minimum aggregate in PCM / PCB of Higher Secondary Examination.

User Facts:

• Only SRMJEEE (UG) scores are valid for B.Tech admissions in all streams.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for the counseling process conducted by the university.
• For B.Arch program, preference will be given to candidates with valid NATA score.
