TNDALU Courses
At the Undergraduate level, SOEL has five-years integrated B.A., LL.B.,(Hon's), B.Com., LL.B., (Hon's), B.B.A., LL.B.,(Hon's), B.C.A., LL.B.,(Hon's) and three-years LL.B (Hons) degree courses. The Postgraduate Department provides LL.M Master's degrees across nine different branches.TNDALU Courses focuses on the advancement and spreading of knowledge of the law and their role in the development of better education and to promote legal education that can contribute wellbeing of the community generally.
TNDALU Admission
Undergraduate And Integrated Courses
Candidates for all the UG courses will be selected based on their marks in the qualifying examination. ForTNDALU Admission in an undergraduate course, the minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is 55% for SC/ ST/ NRI candidates and 60% for general candidates. For admission in integrated courses, the minimum marks in the qualifying exam required is 60% for SC/ ST candidates and 70% for general candidates.
Postgraduate Courses
Admission to the LL.M course in Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University is done on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam. Candidates who have successfully completed a three year / five-year undergraduate degree course in Law with a minimum of 45% are eligible to apply.

TNDALU Rank List
Once the applications are been submitted they will be scrutinized and TNDALU Rank List will be published on the notice boards of the University and its affiliated Government Law Colleges. It can also be browsed on the University’s official website.
TNDALU Counseling
After the candidate has been shortlisted according to the rank list of the university the candidate will proceed further for TNDALU Counselling. Here the candidate will be given a counseling date where he/she will have to come with the required documents.
The candidates who have passed +2 or equivalent examination and obtained the mark statements and submitted the same along with the requisite original certificates shall alone be permitted to attend the counseling session.

Hostel
A Women’s Hostel is available on the campus of the TNDALU and allotment of rooms is done to the girls on the basis of first comes, first served.
Library
A library is the heart of any academic institution and plays a key role in all academic activities and more so in law institutions as well as in law firms.
- Keeping in this mind, the library of TNDALU has been planned and is being developed by a team of qualified professional library staff and guided by the Library Council.
- There are 18,803 books in the library of the University, with 963 online Journals, 81 Indian Journals, 8 Foreign Journals, 25 CD’s and digital books and 8 Indian magazines.
- The library at TNDALU has adopted an open access system so as to facilitate readers to have easy access and retrieval of library and information resources.
