AMET University offers B.E./B.Tech., B.B.A., B.Sc. and B.Com. courses at the undergraduate level. Candidates meet the eligibility criteria for these courses if they have cleared their 10+2 in Science stream from a recognized board. Securing minimum 50% - 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics is mandatory.

• Selection of candidates for B.Tech and B.E program will be on the basis of Written / Personal and Medical Exam whereas admission to BBA and B.Com program requires the candidate to pass Online Admission test.

AMET Postgraduate Admission

AMET University offers M.Tech., MBA, M.Phil., and M.Sc. courses at postgraduate level. For PG course admission the aspirants must have completed their graduation in Engineering or Science stream.

• Selection to M.Tech / M.Phil. / M.Sc. programs will be on the basis of marks secured in Admission test and Personal interview round.
• Admission to MBA program will be on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in CAT / MAT / XAT / ATMA / JMET / TANCET entrance exam.

AMET PhD Admission

Those applying for PhD courses must hold a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with minimum 55% marks. Candidates will be selected after the Entrance exam and personal interview round.

AMET University, also known as Academy of Maritime Education and Training (AMET)  is private university in Kanathur, Tamil Nadu. AMET offers various programs in maritime education, engineering and training offered at UG, PG, and research levels.

The basic eligibility for admission undergraduate programs is to have passed 10+2/HSC Examination while for admission to postgraduate programs is to have a bachelor’s degree. For admission in UG courses, Entrance examination will be conducted through online mode at all the major cities in India. Candidates seeking admission to the Under Graduate courses will be examined, based on the syllabus prescribed for Higher Secondary courses in the subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Moreover, the test will also include questions from English grammar, vocabulary and Logical & Analytical reasoning.. The selected candidates will have to come to AMET University for medical screening and personal interview on the allotted dates.

The final selection will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Qualifying Examination together with the marks obtained by then in the Entrance Examination & Personal Interview.

The Faculty of the candidate for the admission of Ph.D. program shall normally be based on the PG qualification. The DRC/RAC shall approve and recommend the selected candidates for admission to the doctoral program in the appropriate specialization, after giving due consideration to the interdisciplinary fields of research, if any, and the Faculty in which the candidate shall be registered. Selected candidates shall be provisionally admitted for Ph.D. program in the appropriate quarterly session. The Scholar, Supervisor, Doctoral Committee members and Examiners shall not be blood relatives to each other.
