Dayanand Brajendra Swarup College was established in 1959 and it is affiliated to Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University, Kanpur. The college has a campus with the area 8.25 acres. The institute strives to promote self evaluation and accountability among the faculty and to collaborate and interact with other stack holders of higher education. It is a grant-in-aid institution and is recognized by the UGC. It is accredited by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Dayanand Brajendra Swaroop College (DBS) is located 1in Govind Nagar in Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh. The college was established in the year 1959 and is affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), formerly known as Kanpur University.

DBS College UG Admissions 2020

DBS College offers full time Aided or Self Financed Under Graduate Courses in various disciplines which are Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc), Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Bachelor of Library Science (B.L.I.Sc).

For admission into B.L.I.Sc. course, a candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from DBS college or any other recognized university with at least 45% marks but the eligibility criteria for admission into B.Sc. course is minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Mathematics in HSE. for admission into B.Ed course, a candidate must have passed 12th examination from this board or any other recognized board with at least 50% marks. The eligibility criteria for B.A and B.Com courses are same as the candidate must have secured a minimum 50% Aggregate with English as a subject in 10+2 or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent to apply for both of these courses. The selection for all these courses will be based on the entrance test.

DBS College PG Admission 2020

For the candidates who have completed Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate marks with 10+2+3 system, DBS College offers full-time Master of Arts (M.A) and Master of Science (M.Sc). Duration of these courses is of two years. Candidates with minimum 3 years Bachelor’s Degree related to Physics, Chemistry or Mathematics with 50% marks are eligible to take admission to College’s M.Sc course. Admission to M.Sc is based on Entrance Exam conducted by the University. Admission to M.A is based on Marks obtained in the qualifying examination.
