BAMU Admission
Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria should fill the application form by visiting the official website of the university. To apply as a fresh candidate, the students will have to create a login ID and complete all the requisite information. The selection criteria for each course vary from each other as per the requirements. Listed below is a brief about the same:
- Candidates seeking admission in the B.Tech program are required to appear for the MHT-CET entrance exam conducted by the Govt. of Maharashtra.
- For other UG courses, direct admission is offered on the basis of marks secured in 10+2.
- For MBA, the candidate needs to appear for MAH MBA CET (Maharashtra MBA Common Entrance Test) conducted by DTE, Maharashtra.
- Selection to M.Tech and M.Sc is done on the basis of marks secured in the Common Entrance Test namely PG CET conducted by the University.

BAMU Scholarships
Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University offers the following scholarships and financial aids to deserving students:
- Post Matric Scholarship: This is offered to students belonging to Minority communities like Muslim, Parsi, Sikh, Buddha, Christian studying in the university.
- Govt. of India Scholarship: The government provides scholarships to students belonging to reserved categories. To apply, the student must submit an application to the Post-graduate section of the university.
- Eklavya Scholarship: This scholarship is given to students securing 60% marks in Degree exam in Arts faculty and 70% marks in science degree.
- University Merit Scholarship: The students securing 1st and 2nd rank as per the merit in each subject after the completion of the admission procedure.
- Scholarship for Non-Hindi Language Speakers: The students who are studying Hindi Language can submit their application for the scholarship.

BAMU Facilities

- Library: There is a rich collection of more than 3,67,604 books with 4641 Ph.D. theses, 200+ print journals, 15000+ e-journals. It has subscribed to e-documents like JSTOR, Project Muse, Online Database, JGate, etc. to provide the students with an extensive study.
- Hostel: The students enrolled in various programs at the university are provided with campus residential accommodation. Both male and female students can stay in the hostels, however, the admission is strictly based on the availability of rooms.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (BAMU), formerly known as Marathwada University, was established in 1958, in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
The university offers a bunch of courses in arts, science, commerce, technology, computer, business, etc. BAMU offers different admission process for different programmes. The procedures are narrated herein:
- For admission in UG, the university organizes direct admission.
- To get admission in PG courses the candidates need to attend an entrance test conducted by the university.
- Candidates have to appear in MHT-CET so as to seek admission in B.Tech
- Candidates seeking admission in MBA and MCA, need to secure good score in the entrance exam, MAH-MBA-CET and MAH-MCA-CET respectively.

BAMU B.Tech Admission 2020
The college offers, Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course focusing on the area of Technology at the UG level. The programme comprises of two different specializations, such as Pharmaceuticals & Fine Chemicals Technology and Food Technology with a duration of three years. The university also accepts lateral entry in both of the specializations.
The candidates seeking admission in B.Tech programme, are required to appear MHT-CET entrance, authorized and conducted by the Government of Maharashtra. The applicants are selected by the obtained marks, secured in MHT-CET.
Admission in B.Tech (Lateral) is done on the basis of marks scored in Diploma in relevant discipline.

BAMU UG Admission 2020
The BAMU provides UG courses emphasizing a number of area, which includes arts, science, computer, journalism etc. Most of the programmes allows multiple specializations, provided by the university. Duration of all of the programmes is three years, except Bachelor of Dramatics, B.Sc and B.Ed. The duration period for B.Sc and B.Ed is two years, while Bachelor of Dramatics takes one year to fulfil the duration period.
The university leads a direct admission process for the candidates seeking admission for all the UG programmes, apart from Bachelor in Vocational (B.VOC.). Applicants looking for admission in B.Voc programme need to attend Common Entrance Test (CET).

BAMU PG Admission 2020
At the PG level BAMU offers a huge number of courses focusing on the area of arts, law, education, commerce, etc. Apart from LLM, M.Ed and PG Diploma all the PG courses take one year for the completion of the courses. LLM and M.Ed hold two years of duration period while PG Diploma is a course of one year.
Candidates possessing minimum 55% of marks in the relevant discipline, are considered to be eligible for admission in the above mentioned courses. The number of seats available for admission depends upon the nature of specializations opted by the candidates.
