Dr. M.G.R. Educational And Research Institute, Chennai was established under Tmt. Kannammal Educational Trust. Dr. M.G.R. Engineering College and Thai Moogambigai Dental College were established in 1987 and 1991 respectively. Both the colleges acquired Deemed University status in 2003 as Dr. M.G.R. Dr. MGR University (DRMGRDU) Admission 2020: Application form, Application process

Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute University was founded in 1988 is located in the city of Chennai. The University offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate level along with M.Phil. and Ph.D. courses with various specializations.

The application procedure for all these courses start by the end of January, and is open till the end of May. In order to be considered for admission in the college, the candidates need to sit for an entrance test which is conducted in May. Selection of candidates is based on marks obtained at the entrance examination as well as the qualifying examination.

MGRERU UG Admission 2020

The Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute University offers a number of undergraduate degree courses, like B.Tech (regular, lateral entry and Part-time), BDS, B.Sc., BPT, B.Sc., B.Com, BBA, BCA, B.Ed and M.B.B.S. degrees with various specializations. The B.Tech course is offered as regular, lateral entry and part-time.

MGRERU PG Admission 2020

Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute University also offers a number of postgraduate courses for the graduates seeking further study in the concerned disciplines under various specializations.

The University offers the M.Tech courses (both as regular and part-time courses) under 30 different specializations. The regular M.Tech courses are for a duration of two years and the part-time M.Tech courses are for a duration of three years.

The University also offers the M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree under various different fields of research. The M.Phil. degree is offered under four specialization subjects and the Ph.D. degree is offered with 21 different specialization subjects for the purpose of research.
