The College is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University and recognized by NCTE. The college strives to enhance the quality of life of the students emerging from this atmosphere. A variety of teaching and learning techniques are employed to impart knowledge and skills to students at G.R Govindarajulu College of Education. The College offers Bachelor of Education course for those who have passed graduation with minimum aggregate of 45 % from any recognized university are eligible to apply for this course. Admissions are made on the basis of marks secured in the qualifying exam and as per norms prescribed by the University.

Library

Training and Placement Cell :-
The training and placement cell of the college is headed by a placement coordinator, who is a senior faculty member of the college. The cell has student representatives from all class, from among whom a student coordinator is elected. The student coordinator interacts with the placement coordinator for the daily functioning of the cell.
Functioning of the cell:
- Guiding students for placement.
- Conducting seminars, mock interviews and group discussions.
- Providing career guidance and personality
