Kamineni Nursing Institutions built on the strength of its two predecessor organisations Kamineni Hospitals, Kamineni Medical College both of whom have represented the medical and nursing profession since 1995.

Kamineni College of Nursing was established in the year 2000 in the Campus of Kamineni Hospitals Ltd., L.B.Nagar, Hyderabad and permitted by Govt of A.P.State. to admit the students in the Academic year 2001-2002 with an intake of 50 B Sc (N) students each year. In the year 2008-2009 M.Sc. (Nursing) programme was started with an intake of 12 students and in the year 2010 M.Sc (N) seats were enhanced to 20 later in the year 2011 seats were enhanced to 30 in all branches by Indian Nursing Council(INC).

In the year 2011 Post Basic Diploma courses were sanctioned in the specialties of Operation Room Nursing, Cardiothoracic Nursing, Oncology Nursing and Critical care Nursing with annual intake of 15 in each specialty. The college is permitted by INC, New Delhi, AP Nursing Council, Hyderabad and affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada, Telangana. The College has experienced faculty for paving way for best academic and clinical performance of the students.
