• Shri. Vallabhacharya vidya sabha collaborated with the Dewan Bahadur M.O. charities for establishment of this women’s college by their determination in the year 1992.

M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women is an arts and science college located in Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu in southern India. The college is affiliated with the University of Madras.

MOP Vaishnav College for Women offers 15 undergraduate and six postgraduate courses. The UG courses provided by the college are B.A, B.Com, B.Sc, BBA and BCA with a duration of three years. Apart from these, the college offers PG courses like MA, M.Sc and M.Com for a duration period of two years. The college also offers Master’s degree in Business Administration to the willing candidates.

• For admission into the UG courses, candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in their last qualifying examination.

The Anna University of Tamil Nadu conducts an admission test for the candidates seeking admission in MBA program which is called Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).
