Established in 2000, Medi-Caps University is a research institution which is associated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, the Technical University of Madhya Pradesh and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. The institute has been accredited by the National Board of Accreditation. It is managed by the Medi-Caps Charitable Trust in Indore. The institute comprises a total of ten departments. This 19-year old institution has a campus area of about 33 acres. All the events, fests and competitions organised by the institution take place within the premises. Also, the institute has been ranked at 47th position in India by the Times of India in 2015. The institute focuses on the field of engineering, computer applications and management courses. It also offers specialisation courses like foreign trade, marketing, human resource management and finance.

Medi-Caps University Admission Process

The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

• For admission to the B.Tech programme:
  • Students are supposed to qualify the JEE Entrance Examination with good rankings. They should have passed their 12th board examination from a recognised university. The cut-off is set by the admission authorities of the institute.
• For admission to the M.Tech programme:
  • Students are supposed to qualify the GATE Entrance Examination. They must have a BE or BTech degree from a recognised university. They are supposed to clear the exam with good scores in order to get admitted to the college.

After qualifying the entrance examination, the selected students will be called for a personal interview at the campus. Then, the shortlisted students will be provided with the dates of the new session.

Medi-Caps University Placements

According to the previous year's placement record, the minimum salary offered to a student was about INR 2.6 LPA, the average salary offered was INR 3.5 LPA, and the highest salary offered was INR 6 LPA.
