P.A.Inamdar College of Visual Effects, Design & Arts ( VEDA College ) is internationally acclaimed as one of the foremost multi-disciplinary institutions in the field of Graphics & Web Design, Animation & VFX and Film Making. The college is a part of Pune’s one of the oldest educational institution Maharashtra Cosmopolitan Education Society popularly known as Azam Campus.  The animation and VFX college is affiliated with The Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University for Animation and Media Courses. VEDA college has been certified ‘ISO 9001-2008 certificate’ by the ZASANZ for its quality management.

VEDA College has been a pioneer in degree courses in animation & design education. The college takes pride in creating a mass awareness of  University laid animation, design and art education right from Aug 2010. VEDA’s graduates have made a mark in key sectors of animation, films and art by taking role of catalysts and through out of box subject approach.

Veda College is also affiliated to India’s ventren Art Director Shri Nitin Desai’s ND Film City for imparting skills of film making in a live environment of shooting and film making.

VEDA College is situated in the city of Pune, in Maharashtra. As part of expansion plan, VEDA College has built a new Art wing at Azam campus, under MCE Society. Shikshan Maharshi & Member of Planning Commission of India for Higher Education Shri P.A. Inamdar laid the foundation stone for this campus and it consists of a FineArt and VFX Studio along with Graphics Design, Animation, Film Editing , Bridge courses in Art, Art Teacher Diploma , G.D. Art and B.F.A Painting course.

VEDA’s Training & Placement Office ( TPO) has set up a campus recruitment and placement programme called “Recruitment Support Associates” specially to place talented & creative students in national and international industry. Currently Nine main programmes are offered from this college. VEDA’s creative and natural environment addresses the immediate need for an exclusive art cum animation college in the country, by nurturing the creative design spirit and space to innovate through intense teaching-learning process.

VEDA college campus is open to visitors throughout the year from 8am to 2pm, Monday to Friday (apart from public and college holidays). Visitors will have to obtain a Visitor’s Pass at the Main Gate to enter the campus. If you are visiting us in a group with prior appointment, VEDA College can arrange Guided Tour of Campus.

VEDA College also offer our Visual Effects Studio, Editing Lab , Art Studio and Workstations to media houses , advertising companies , artists and animation studios on hourly basis. College offers residential facility for students of UG & PG courses inside the campus hostels.

The MCE Society established this animation institute in Pune in the year 2010 in Azam Campus Pune. The latter started out in 1948 with the objective of providing education to the economically, educationally and socially weaker sections of society for which it is registered under the Society’s Registration Act of 1860. It is also a Public Trust under the Bombay Public Trust Act 1950. Being a not-for-profit organization it is registered as such under Section 12(a) of the Income Tax Act of 1961 as an organization exempt from the payment of Income Tax under Section 80G.

Like it’s initials, this animation institute in Pune stresses upon the Gurukul pattern of learning.
