Padmavani Educational and Charitable Trust was established in the year 2005 by the estimable brothers Mr. K. Duraisamy and Mr. K. Sathiyamoorthy. It stepped into the field of education with the aim of the upliftment of feminine education. Mrs. Padmavathy Duraisamy and Mrs. Esaivani Sathiyamoorthy, who seem to be the backbone of the trust, thrive to transform the young seedlings into an ever green grove. The trust also stands as a light house for the unaware feminine winds. Now the young & dynamic Directress Ms. S. Nivitha Sathiyamoorthy imparts her innovative ideas for the better education and women empowerment. The trust also stands as a light for the unaware feminine minds and extends its helping hands to the minds longing for education.

Padmavani Arts and Science College for Women has started its educational service since 2005. It has been running peacefully with 15 UG Departments, 9 PG Departments, 8 M.Phil, 6 Phd Courses. It comprises 5000 girl students and 100 talented staff members to motivate them in curricular and extracurricular activities. Its aim is to build up the women potentially to meet the challenges in the society.

Our Vision is an amalgamation of teaching and learning. Development of the knowledge is gained through research, scholarship, leadership in service and outreach. Further, the college is the ground to mould the students, scholars and staff exemplary related services to meet the challenging society.

Our Mission is to prepare outstanding educators, scholars and researchers. To advance their profession, we educate the students with research oriented knowledge in science and art, teaching and learning, the application of clinical processes, the effective uses of technology, and the analysis and development of leadership and educational policy.

Also our Library is Wi-Fi Enabled, with update subscriptions to DELNET, helping our students tap the global knowledge and expertise .
