PSG Institute Of  Advanced Studies (PSGIAS) was founded by the PSG group and offers opportunities for International education. The institute was established to identify and establish R & D facilities in areas of Science and Technology through the help of public and private funding. This is done by exploring academic linkage for PSG Institutions with institutions, industries, and R & D organizations at National and International level.

In order to make the International Education affordable, PSGIAS has entered into collaborations and signed several MoUs with various Universities. These collaborations allow students to study a major portion of the program at PSG in India. The education programs currently offered are with the universities in the USA, Germany, UK, and Australia.

Undergraduate programs

The institute conducts admission on the basis of marks obtained by the students in their 12th grade either direct, interview or entrance test(conducted by Institute). PSGIAS provides students to get an international degree with the major part of the study in India (thus reducing the overall expenses) under the credit transfer system.

Postgraduate programs in PSGIAS

The selection of PG courses will be based upon the marks obtained by the candidates in their previous qualifying degree with a minimum of 6 CGPA.

Entrance exam may be required from the corresponding university. Apart from that PSGIAS provides excellent study opportunities for obtaining overseas Post Graduate Degree by studying partly in India and partly overseas.

PSGIAS offers the following Masters programs:

• MS in Mechanical Engineering and MS in Industrial Engineering in partnership with the University of Toledo

• MS in Industrial and Systems Engineering partnership with Northern Illinois University, USA

• MBA in partnership with University of Toledo, USA

Research programs in PSG IAS

For admissions, the Eligibility criteria are required as per the selected university norms. PSG Institute of Advanced Studies (PSGIAS) offers a research program in various disciplines of engineering and science like Mechanical engineering, Nanoscience, and Technology, Material Science, Biotechnology, Nanobiotechnology, Physics, and Chemistry.
