An Uttar Pradesh State Legislature Act established Sharda University in 2009. The UGC approved private university, which is a part of the Shards Group of Institutions, is in Greater Noida, Delhi. And, it was founded by Pradeep Kumar Gupta who is also the Chancellor. The university offers various programmes, including graduate, postgraduate, PhD, diploma and integrated courses.

It houses 13 schools that offer a range of courses. Students can enrol in School of Engineering and Technology, School of Business Studies, School of Architecture and Planning, School of Creative Art, Design and Media Studies, School of Law, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Dental Sciences, School of Nursing Sciences and Research, School of Allied Health Sciences, School of Medical Science and research, School of Basic Sciences and Research, School of Education and School of Pharmacy. 

Sharda University Admission Process

Students are enrolled on the basis of the results of an admission test (Sharda University Admission Test). If you qualify the exam, you will be summoned for a personal interview.
