Singhania University was established in the year 2007 by the Government of Rajasthan. The university is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and has two other campuses: Singhania University-Gurgaon Campus, and Singhania University-Delhi Campus.

The university offers a multitude of courses such as Engineering, Humanities, Medicine, Science, and Management. Singhania University has more than 200 graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral degree programmes in 50 disciplines. The University has a well-stocked and furnished library, well-equipped labs, a host of indoor and outdoor games and sports, and hostels for both boys and girls. Singhania University offers special concessions in fees and provides liberal scholarships to meritorious and needy students, without any distinction of caste, creed or colour.
