Our college focuses special attention on the growth of mind and physique of the students. The college sincerely believes that the physical health is essential. The department of physical education has been making untiring efforts to train the students in all the sports activities.

AIM & OBJECTIVES

• To provide opportunities to participate in games and field events.
• To form the best college Team in various games as well as to shape as many athletes as possible.
• To offer the best Training and motivation participating in and outside college events

PHYSICAL EDUCATION

Every student shall participate compulsorily for a period of not less than two years (4 semester) in any of the above programs. The principal shall furnish a certificate regarding the students performance in the respective field and shall grade the student as follows:

• A – Exemplary
• B – Verygood
• C – good
• D– Fair
• E – Satisfactory

The grading will be incorporated in the mark sheet to be issued at the end of the appropriate semester.

NSS ACTIVITIES

Bharathiar University has sanctioned three NSS units for our college. Each NSS units has 100 volunteers
Vision
National Service Scheme [NSS] serves to establish a meaningful linkage between the campus and community.
Mission
For sensitizing and utilizing the students for National reconstruction and National resurgence through strengthening the rural community who are living in poverty, illiteracy and social backwardness.
NSS regular activities and special camps are conducted every year in the adopted villages for doing social service.
